Zhu Su: Does Not Believe XPL Price Surge Incident Is Related to Hyperliquid System Issue

BlockBeats News, August 27, Zhu Su posted on social media, saying that he had read the discussion on XPL on HL (Hyperliquid). To be honest, he does not consider this to be an exploit (unlike the jellyjelly incident). The issue is not with the Hyperliquid system itself, but that some hedgers shorted an asset that could experience a rapid price increase. In fact, they could have added more collateral to continue shorting. The only possible issue, in my opinion, is that some users may not understand the operation of the "cross" and "isolated" margin modes—meaning that even with sufficient funds in the account, they were liquidated due to instant liquidation.
